Welcome to the Shake-the-Box layouts. The first Shake-the-Box layout was produced as an exercise to show just how easy it is for anyone to build a model railway using readily available products. Building the layout was serialised in Hornby Magazine from Issue 16 through to 23. The latest news from the line can be found by clicking on Down the Branch on the left-hand menu. A second Shake-the-Box layout was built for a DVD produced by Activity Media. Hatton Parkway is a more complicated layout to showcase more advanced techniques, although still within reach of the beginner.
